Counseling service is available to all students. Many problems concerning both school and one's personal life can be helped by counseling. The school counselor is available to help students with academic guidance, personal and social counseling, minor behavior and discipline problems, attendance guidance, communication with parents and teachers, and to assist students in making a smooth and successful transition from the elementary school into the 6th grade and from 8th grade to the high school. Parents are invited to contact the school counselor when they have questions or concerns related to their child's education and/or social development and adjustment. Parents can be provided with contact information of city agencies for students who are in need of professional counseling. Please contact Angela Min at firstname.lastname@example.org
or Jeff Arenzana at email@example.com
. Both counselors can also be reached at (562) 944-3268.
